PACIFIC CLAIMS FOURTH WIN, FIRST PLACE IN POOL B

REGINA — Indian Head hockey fans flooded the rink with over 1,000 fans to see Germany play undefeated Pacific Sunday at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. They got their money’s worth watching Pacific score a convincing 11-2 win over Germany.
Matthew Hallick’s two-goal, two-assist night capped off a night several Pacific scorers will remember for a long time.
Brendon Sutter found the net twice for his third and fourth goals of the tournament, and added an assist. Brett Sonne also chipped in a pair of goals. Other Pacific snipers included: Colton Gillies (goal, two assists), Tyler Ennis, Colton Grant and Lucas Bloodoff.
German forward Steven Rupprich scored twice, including a power-play marker.
Pacific (4-0) clinched first place in Pool B with the win and awaits the second-place team from Pool A in the medal round.
Germany (0-2-1) faces Finland (0-2-1) in Southey at 7 p.m.
