In 1999-2000, led the Maple Leafs to their first regular season division championship since 1962-63
Led the Maple Leafs to the Eastern Conference Final in 1999 and 2002
Won a Memorial Cup as minority owner of the Vancouver Giants in 2007
Won a Memorial Cup with the Edmonton Oil Kings in 1963
Named head coach of the Edmonton Oilers for the 2009-10 season
Served as chairman of the Hockey Hall of Fame from August 2013 until his passing
