At older levels, we don't necessarily talk about turning, instead, we talk about speed out of a turn. One thing that's going to help the speed out of a turn is the puck placement. Get that puck coming out of the turn quick. Another thing that's going to help players is if they do not cross their hands. Yes, there is a time and place for everything, but in this situation, players could be better at making the next play if their hands are not crossed. Staying low is always important so players can stay strong in their turn. And finally, if we could get our players to look where they're going, their shoulders, hips and feet will follow.
