What do Meghan Agosta-Marciano, Courtney Birchard, Brianne Jenner, Lauriane Rougeau, Catherine Ward and Tara Watchorn all have in common? They're all centralized in Calgary, Alta., as they train with Canada's National Women's Team on the Road to Sochi 2014. And an important step for all of them in cracking that Team Canada roster was first representing their provinces at our National Women's Under-18 Championship. This high calibre women's hockey event is coming to the Markin MacPhail Centre in Calgary, the same arena where our National Women's Team is now training, with the top young players from across the country taking to the ice inside Hockey Canada's home arena in a battle for national championship bragging rights. The 2013 National Women's Under-18 Championship starts Nov. 6 and culminates Nov. 10 with the gold medal game broadcast on TSN./RDS, official broadcasters for Hockey Canada. As 2013 National Women's Under-18 Championship honorary chair Cassie Campbell-Pascall says, "It's time to saddle up for the cup."
