The 1995 edition of Canada's National Junior Team included eight returnees from the 1994 world junior champions, two players who went No. 1 in the NHL Entry Draft and 13 who heard their names called in the first round. On the road to gold, it was the first Canadian entry to win all seven of its games at the IIHF World Junior Championship, its 49 goals are the second-most in the Program of Excellence era, and its 23 power-play markers set an all-time tournament record.
