LINKOPING, SWEDEN – Team Canada will practice twice in Linkoping today in preparation for their first exhibition game on Thursday, March 31 in Norrkoping versus Finland.

Team Canada settled in yesterday and practiced last night after a long day of travel. The players are all in good spirits and anxious to get started. “It will take some time to get adjusted to the time change and the new surroundings, but everyone is running on adrenaline so right now we feel energetic” stated Team Canada veteran Danielle Goyette.

The team will practice once more in Linkoping on Thursday morning before taking a half hour bus ride to Norrkoping for the Canada’s only exhibition game. The weather is just below zero, but it was clear and sunny today. A few staff went to pick up a few items in the near by town centre, only to discover most stores close at 2pm. Everyone is adjusting to a new culture, and really enjoying the experience.
