(Halifax, N.S.) Guilliaume Gauthier scored the shootout winner propelling Quebec to a thrilling 5-4 win over British Columbia in a back and forth game at the Metro Centre in Halifax.

Jonathan Drouin led Quebec with a goal and an assist while Curtis Lazar and Sam Reinhart each had three point games for British Columbia. Philippe Desrosiers picked up the win in goal for Quebec facing 27 shots, while Tristan Jarry made 29 saves in the loss for B.C.

Quebec’s next action is against Ontario Sunday night at the Metro Centre while B.C. faces Nova Scotia Sunday afternoon, both games are at the Metro Centre.
