PACIFIC POSTS WIN, MOVES TO 2-1
London, ON – Evander Kane (Vancouver, BC/Vancouver, WHL) scored three goals as Team Pacific improved to 2-1 at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge with a 6-4 victory over Team Finland on Tuesday.
Justin Maylan (Calgary, AB/Moose Jaw, WHL), Chase Schaber (Red Deer, AB/Calgary, WHL) and Steven Oursov (Chilliwack, BC/Trail, BCHL) also scored for Team Pacific, which currently sits in second place in Pool A. Pacific will complete its round-robin on Wednesday with a game against Quebec (7:30 p.m., St. Thomas).
