United States 4 – Pacific 0 | Gold | Sat. Jan. 4

Luke Kirwan scored twice, Colin White added a goal and an assist to finish as tournament scoring leader, and Michael Lackey needed to make just 12 saves as the U.S. blanked Pacific to win its fourth under-17 gold medal.

Russia 6 – Quebec 2 | Bronze | Sat. Jan. 4

Dmitry Zhukenov and Artur Tyanulin had a goal and an assist each in the third period as the Russians scored five unanswered goals in the final 20 minutes, and six unanswered overall, to erase an early deficit and win bronze.

Czech Republic 3 – Atlantic 2 | 7th Place | Sat. Jan. 4

Simon Stransky and Vojtech Budik scored 34 seconds apart early in the third period, and Filip Suchy also scored to help the Czechs erase a one-goal deficit after 40 minutes, beat Atlantic and earn a seventh-place finish.

United States 9 – Quebec 1 | Semifinal | Fri. Jan. 3

Colin White had four more points, giving him 16 in five games, Nicholas Boka and Matthew Tkachuk scored two goals apiece, and 14 Americans had at least a point as the U.S. routed Quebec to move into the gold medal game.

Pacific 7 – Russia 3 | Semifinal | Fri. Jan. 3

Matteo Gennaro finished with two goals and an assist, Zach Sawchenko made 25 saves and eight players recorded multiple-point performances to lead Pacific past Russia in North Sydney and into Saturday’s gold medal game.

West 4 – Germany 3 | 9th Place | Fri. Jan. 3

Ryan Gardiner scored the game-winner eight minutes into the third period, and Cameron Hebig and Lane Pederson had two assists each as West erased two one-goal deficits to earn a ninth-place finish in Port Hawkesbury.

Ontario 6 – Sweden 3 | 5th Place | Fri. Jan. 3

Dylan Strome scored twice and added an assist, Lawson Crouse had two goals of his own, and Graham Knott chipped in with three helpers to help Ontario beat the Swedes in North Sydney and secure a fifth-place finish.

United States 6 – Ontario 2 | Preliminary | Thu. Jan. 2

Matthew Tkachuk scored the game-winner shorthanded, the first of four U.S. goals in the final nine minutes, as the Americans pulled away in the third period to complete an undefeated preliminary round and eliminate Ontario.

Pacific 3 – Sweden 1 | Preliminary | Thu. Jan. 2

Adam Musil and Glenn Gawdin scored third-period goals to break open a 1-1 tie, and Musil and Brad Morrison had a goal and an assist each as Pacific clinched first in Group A and kept the defending gold medallists out of the semifinals.

Russia 5 – Atlantic 3 | Preliminary | Thu. Jan. 2

Aleksandr Zhebelev scored twice, Artur Tyanulin added a goal and an assist and the Russians fired 43 shots on goal as they stayed alive in the race for a semifinal berth by beating Atlantic to close out their preliminary round schedule.

Quebec 4 – West 1 | Preliminary | Thu. Jan. 2

Nicolas Roy scored a goal and added two assists to pace the offence and Brandon Gignac, David Henley and Samuel Blier also found the back of the net to help Quebec to victory and put them on the verge of a spot in Friday’s semifinals.

Pacific 4 – Czech Republic 1 | Preliminary | Wed. Jan. 1

Giorgio Estephan scored the game-winner 6:29 into the second period, Tyler Soy had a goal and an assist and Zach Sawchenko made 29 saves as Pacific moved into a three-way tie atop Group B by beating the Czechs in North Sydney.

Russia 6 – Ontario 5 (SO) | Preliminary | Wed. Jan. 1

Ivan Kashtonov scored the lone goal in the shootout, and Artur Tyanulin and Denis Gurianov had a goal and an assist each as Russia kept its semifinal hopes alive with a win in Sydney. Mitchell Marner had a hat trick for Ontario in the loss.

West 3 – Sweden 2 (SO) | Preliminary | Wed. Jan. 1

Connor Hobbs had a goal and an assist in regulation, Jackson Keane and Troy Murray scored goals in the shootout and Logan Flodell made 38 saves to help West earn its first victory by topping the defending champions in North Sydney.

Atlantic 4 – Germany 3 | Preliminary | Wed. Jan. 1

Kyle Ward scored the game-winning goal with just 3:21 remaining to help Atlantic to its first win in Sydney. Blade Mann-Dixon finished with 29 saves, and Alexandre Jacob and Nathan Noel added a goal and an assist each in the victory.

Sweden 3 – Quebec 2 | Preliminary | Tue. Dec. 31

Einar Emanuelsson and Jonathan Léman scored shootout goals, and Felix Sandström stopped 49 of the 51 shots he saw in regulation and overtime as the Swedes held off Quebec to earn the win and remain unbeaten in North Sydney.

United States 9 – Atlantic 1 | Preliminary | Tue. Dec. 31

Jeremy Bracco scored twice, Colin White had two goals and three assists, and Brendan Warren and Caleb Jones had two helpers each as the Americans continued to roll, improving to 3-0 while keeping Atlantic without a victory in Sydney.

Czech Republic 5 – West 2 | Preliminary | Tue. Dec. 31

Daniel Vladar made 32 saves, David Kase scored twice, Simon Stransky added two assists and the Czechs used a three-goal first period to win for the second time in as many days and keep West without a victory in North Sydney.

Russia 7 – Germany 2 | Preliminary | Tue. Dec. 31

Artur Tyanulin scored twice and added two assists and Dmitry Zhukenov had a goal and two helpers as the Russians erased a 2-1 second-period deficit and scored the game’s final six goals to earn their first win in Port Hawkesbury.

Pacific 6 – West 3 | Preliminary | Mon. Dec. 30

Matteo Gennaro scored twice and added an assist, and Giorgio Estephan and Tyler Soy had a goal and a helper each to pace the offence as Pacific scored four times in the first period to earn its first win in an all-Canadian match-up.

Ontario 5 – Atlantic 1 | Preliminary | Mon. Dec. 30

Graham Knott had a pair of goals, Dylan Strome finished with a goal and an assist and Blake Speers chipped in with two helpers to help Ontario win for the second time in as many days, spoiling Atlantic’s debut on home ice in Sydney.

United States 14 – Germany 1 | Preliminary | Mon. Dec. 30

Luke Kirwan scored three times and added two assists, Jordan Greenway had a hat trick of his own and 15 U.S. skaters recorded at least one point as the Americans continued their offensive roll, routing Germany in North Sydney.

Czech Republic 5 – Quebec 1 | Preliminary | Mon. Dec. 30

Roman Dymacek scored twice and David Kase and Josef Zajic also had goals, all in the third period, as the Czechs pulled away in the final 20 minutes in Sydney to earn their first victory and hand the Canadian side its first loss.

Quebec 4 – Pacific 3 | Preliminary | Sun. Dec. 29

Maxime Fortier scored the game-winner with just 4:53 remaining – his third point of the game – as Quebec scored the game’s first two goals and last two goals, erasing a 3-2 third-period deficit to top Pacific in a wild game in North Sydney.

Sweden 3 – Czech Republic 1 | Preliminary | Sun. Dec. 29

John Dahlström scored the winner early in the second period, and added assists on goals by Linus Ölund and Oliver Erixon as the Swedes held off a late push by the Czechs to open defense of their gold medal with a win in North Sydney.

United States 5 – Russia 1 | Preliminary | Sun. Dec. 29

Brendan Warren and Michael Floodstrand had a goal and an assist each, Noah Hanifin, Auston Matthews and Colin White scored, and the U.S. fired 60 shots at the Russian goal to open its schedule with a win in Port Hawkesbury.

Ontario 8 – Germany 1 | Preliminary | Sun. Dec. 29

Mitchell Marner scored a hat trick, Dylan Strome added a goal and two assists, six skaters racked up multiple points and 11 had at least one to help Ontario open Group B play with a lopsided seven-goal victory over the Germans in Sydney.
