second game at the 2004 Skoda Cup. Canada now stands at 1 win and 1 loss and will face the home Swiss
team which has a record of 1 win and 1 tie.
Canada must beat the Swiss on Sunday and Germany must defeat Slovakia for Canada to win the
tournament.
Andrew Verner was named Player of the Game for Canada and the Slovak goaltender Karol
Krizan was outstanding for the Slovaks. Team Canada is comprised of players from five different
leagues (Swiss, Austria, Sweden and the AHL) at the 2004 Skoda Cup.
