Caitlin Kraemer, Chloe Primerano and Abby Stonehouse each scored a pair of goals, and Canada downed Finland 8-1 to win bronze at the IIHF U18 Women's World Championship.

Growing the women’s game
A partnership between Canada and Finland has provided friendly competition and also grown women’s hockey.
Forty-six players will wear the Maple Leaf with Canada’s women’s U18 and development teams in Lake Placid, NY.
Sixty-nine players will attend development and U18 camps in St. Catharines, ON, ahead of series against the U.S.
Troy Ryan, Kori Cheverie and Tara Watchorn will be behind the bench with Canada’s national women’s teams in 2023-24.
Primerano and Zablocki scored, but Canada fell to Czechia in the semis.
D’Alessandro scored twice to lead Canada to the semifinals.
Primerano and Kraemer scored hat tricks as Canada downed Finland.
Stonehouse had five points as Canada beat Czechia for its second win.
Primerano had five points as Canada opened by blanking Germany.
Kraemer scored 1G, 3A as Canada complete sweep over the U.S.
Venusio scored twice to help Canada earn its second win of the series.
Clark posted a 13-save shutout as Canada blanked the U.S.
Kraemer had four points as Canada beat Finland to close out camp.
Sawyer scored a late game-winning goal as Red edged White.
Six different players scored goals as White earned a win over the Finns.
D’Alessandro finished with 1G, 1A as Canada Red blanked Finland.

Manness scored in regulation and the shootout to lead White to the win.
