Team Central (Waterloo Wolves) earned a hard-fought 4-3 win over the Host Team (Sault Ste. Marie North Stars) to close out action on the first day of competition at the 2003 Air Canada Cup. TJ Parkes scored the winner at 12:41 of the third period shorthanded, taking advantage of a turnover deep in the Sault Ste. Marie zone./Équipe centrale (Waterloo Wolves) ont mérité un gain difficile de 4-3 au dépens de l'équipe hôte (Sault Ste.
