2004 National U18 Club Championship

QUEBEC 6 - CENTRAL 2

April 21, 2004
Kenora, ON

In what turned out to be a very chippy, penalty filled affair, Quebec continued its undefeated streak to 3-0. Toronto opened the scoring with two first period goals, including one on the power-play to give the Blue shirts a 2-0 lead heading into the second period. Quebec owned the second period scoring three unanswered goals, including Francis Pare’s penalty shot goal at 6:36 of the middle frame. Toronto had a tough time staying out of the box in the third period as Quebec capitalized on their power-play opportunities adding two goals with the extra man. The scoring was closed out by Quebec with their 6th goal of the game, and won decisively 6-2. Guillaume Parenteau scored two goals for Quebec in the victory, while team-mate Francis Pare had two goals and an assist. Toronto now falls to 1-2 and currently sits in tied for third. Quebec sits atop the leader board with a perfect 3-0 record.
