Sudbury 3 – Stoney Creek 2 | Bronze medal game | Sat. Apr. 26

Goals from Sydney Walker, Karli Shell and Victoria Pitawanakwat and a 23-save performance by Stephanie Pascal led the Sudbury Lady Wolves past the Stoney Creek Sabres in the bronze medal game.

Edmonton 2 – Stoney Creek 1 (SO) | Semifinal | Fri. Apr. 25

Jessica Healey scored the shootout winner, as well as her team’s only goal in regulation, and Tracie Kikuchi stopped 31 shots as the Edmonton Thunder defeated the Stoney Creek Sabres and advanced to the gold medal game.

Weyburn 3 – Sudbury 0 | Semifinal | Fri. Apr. 25

Bailee Bourassa, Cassidy Pirlot and Paige Smith scored and Jane Kish made 25 saves in picking up her first shutout of the tournament, as the Gold Wings advanced to the gold medal game with a win over the Lady Wolves on Friday.

Edmonton 4 – Stoney Creek 3 (OT) | Preliminary | Thurs. Apr. 24

Alexandra Poznikoff’s goal 4:21 into overtime, her second of the game, gave the Edmonton Thunder the win over the Stoney Creek Sabres in the final preliminary round game of the 2014 Esso Cup.

Weyburn 3 – Moncton 2 | Preliminary | Thurs. Apr. 24

Madison Colbow, Whitney Thorp and Bailee Bourassa provided the goals, Jane Kish supplied the saves and the Weyburn Gold Wings defeated the Moncton Rockets for its fourth win of the Esso Cup.

Sudbury 6 – Fraser Valley 3 | Preliminary | Thurs. Apr. 24

Kennedy Lanktree, Victoria Pitawanakwat and Karli Shell scored two goals each and Danika Lefrancois stopped 24 shots in picking up her second win as the Lady Wolves defeated the Phantom in Thursday’s first game.

Stoney Creek 3 – Weyburn 2 | Preliminary | Wed. Apr. 23

First period goals from Kayla Vespa, Megan Korzack and Alexa Vasko, and a 25-save performance by Serena D’Angelo, clinched a Sabres win over Weyburn Wednesday night, as well as first place at the Esso Cup.

Sudbury 3 – Edmonton 2 | Preliminary | Wed. Apr. 23

Melisa Kingsley, Karli Shell and Jenna Gough provided the scoring, the defence allowed only 18 shots on net and the Sudbury Lady Wolves improved to 3-1 after its win over the Edmonton Thunder Wednesday afternoon.

Fraser Valley 7 – Moncton 2 | Preliminary | Wed. Apr. 23

Kirsten Martin had two goals and an assist, six other players had multiple points and Valencia Yordanov made 18 saves as Fraser Valley defeated Moncton Wednesday afternoon to pick up its first win of the Esso Cup.

Stoney Creek 2 – Sudbury 1 | Preliminary | Tues. Apr. 22

Alexa Vasko’s shorthanded goal as time expired on the second period proved to be the difference as the Stoney Creek Sabres defeated the Sudbury Wolves Tuesday night to improve to 3-0.

Weyburn 3 – Fraser Valley 2 | Preliminary | Tues. Apr. 22

Caitlin Dempsey scored twice, Tessa Wilson and Kassidy Sjostrand each pitched in with two assists, and Jane Kish made 38 saves as the Weyburn Gold Wings moved to 3-0 and atop the leaderboard at the Esso Cup.

Moncton 5 – Edmonton 4 | Preliminary | Tues. Apr. 22

Faith Steeves scored a goal in each period and Brooke Murphy chipped in with two goals of her own as the Moncton Rockets found its way into the win column Tuesday afternoon at the Esso Cup.

Stoney Creek 3 – Fraser Valley 0 | Preliminary | Mon. Apr. 21

Amanda Butterfield, Natasha Costello and Victoria Klimek each scored and goalie Serena D’Angelo stopped all 18 shots she saw as the Stoney Creek Sabres made it two in a row with a shutout win over the Phantom.

Sudbury 5 – Moncton 1 | Preliminary | Mon. Apr. 21

Karli Shell scored twice in the first and added an assist in the third, while Kennedy Lanktree, Taylor McGaughey and Victoria Pitawanakwat also scored, en route to Sudbury’s 5-1 win over Moncton on Monday at the 2014 Esso Cup.

Weyburn 4 – Edmonton 2 | Preliminary | Mon. Apr. 21

Cassidy Pirlot had a goal and two assists, Jenica Whitrow and Bailee Bourassa added two points apiece and Jane Kish turned aside 18 shots as the Gold Wings improved to 2-0 at the 2014 Esso Cup.

Stoney Creek 8 – Moncton 1 | Preliminary | Sun. Apr. 20

Stephanie Ayres and Claire Merrick each scored twice and four other players found the back of the net as the host Stoney Creek Sabres dominated the Atlantic Region champion Moncton Rockets in the opening day finale.

Edmonton 1 – Fraser Valley 0 | Preliminary | Sun. Apr. 20

Jessica Healey scored the game’s only goal with less than five minutes to play in the third and Tracie Kikuchi made 33 saves as the Edmonton Thunder defeated the Fraser Valley Phantom in the Esso Cup’s Battle of the Pacific.

Weyburn 2 – Sudbury 1 | Preliminary | Sun. Apr. 20

Jenica Whitrow scored with less than two minutes to play in the third and goaltender Jane Kish turned aside 26 of 27 shots as the Weyburn Gold Wings opened the 2014 Esso Cup with a win over the Sudbury Lady Wolves.
