Rosters Announced For 2005 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Lethbridge, AB

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Hockey Canada and the host committee for the 2005 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Lethbridge, AB officially announced on Wednesday the final rosters for all ten teams participating in the tournament, December 29-January 4, 2005.

To view all ten team rosters, please log on to www.hockeycanada.ca, and click on the ‘World Under-17’ icon.  www.hockeycanada.ca is the official web site of Hockey Canada and the 2005 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

The 2005 World Under-17 Challenge features ten teams, five regional Canadian teams (Pacific, Western, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic) and five international teams (Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Slovakia, and USA).

The 2005 World Under-17 Challenge games will be held at both the Enmax Centre and the Nicholas Sheran Ice Rink in Lethbridge, AB.

Once the 2005 World Under-17 Challenge begins on Dec. 29, all game sheets and statistical information will be available again this year through the “Real-Time” stats program at www.hockeycanada.ca.  Hockey fans are encouraged to login to the World Under-17 section of the site, and follow their favorite team in ‘real-time’ on-line.
