André Tourigny has joined Hockey Canada on a one-year contract that will put him behind the bench at four major events over the next 14 months. The veteran bench boss will serve as head coach at the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship and 2022 IIHF World Championship, and as assistant coach at the 2021 worlds and 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
