Canada Returns From 2002 IIHF World Under 18 Hockey Championship

PIESTANY, SLOVAKIA - Canada's National Under 18 Team returns home on Monday, after finishing 6th in it's first ever participation in the IIHF World Under 18 Hockey Championship, that was held in Piestany, Slovakia. Canada closed out the final round with a 5-3 loss against Belarus on Sunday to finish the Championship with a 3-5 record.

Canada's National Under 18 Team was made up of players born in 1984, not involved in the playoffs in either the CHL, university or Junior "A" leagues when the team was named on April 4th.

The team will arrive in Toronto on Monday, April 22nd from Frankfurt at 3:15 pm (Eastern) on Air Canada flight 873 at Terminal 2. Most of the players and staff will be connecting from there on to their final destinations that are listed below. All times listed are local.
