Canada Denies Germany

HANNOVER, Germany - Jeremy Adduno scored twice leading Team Canada to a 5-2 win over the German Team in Sunday’s Deutschland Cup action.

Germany’s Oliver Jonas was brought in replacing Robert Muller to attemp to regain German confidence in goal after a quick Team Canada 5-0 lead after 23 minutes of play.

Jimmy Waite faced only 23 shots on goal to secure Team Canada’s win. Team Canada now stands in first place and will await the decision of the USA vs Slovakia game to determine their spot in the Deutschland Cup standings.
