A Goal Scored is Worth a Hat on a Head!

You won’t see tempers flying at this year’s National Women’s Under-18 Championship, you’ll only see hats, socks and mitts! After the first goal is scored during the Ontario Red vs. Manitoba game on Friday, November 9th, fans are encouraged to unleash a steady stream of these winter essentials. Items collected will be distributed to the community with the hopes of shielding the less fortunate from the winter weather.

But generosity will not fall short, because General Mills will donate one box of Hamburger Helper (limit 2,500 boxes) to everyone who donates new hats, socks and mitts. Individuals can help warm the region while receiving a hearty meal to warm themselves! To ease with the shopping process, socks can be purchased at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium during the game for just $2.50 per pair.
