QUEBEC 5 - ATLANTIC 2

April 19, 2004
Kenora, ON

Cornwall, PEI is only the second team from Prince Edward Island to qualify for the National Midget Championship in the past 20 years. Cornwall had a tough first game against a perennial midget powerhouse in Riverains du College Charles-Lemoyne representing Quebec. Quebec opened the scoring with one goal in the first, and added a second goal in period 2. Cornwall did not go down without a fight, as they rallied and added two goals of their own in the third. Quebec capped off the win with an empty net goal to take the game 5-2. Cornwall goalie Todd Gregory was the star of the game recording 42 saves on the night. Benjamin Breault led the way for Quebec with a pair of goals in the victory.
