HODONIN, Czech Republic – Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team has qualified for the bronze medal game against Russia at the 2007 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka. Canada beat the Czech Republic 4-1 on Thursday to finish the round robin with two wins and an overtime loss, good for seven points and second place in Pool A. Russia finished second in Pool B. The two teams will meet for bronze on Saturday in Piestany, Slovakia (6:30 p.m. local, 12:30 p.m. ET). |
