2003 RBC Cup

The Humboldt Broncos, who were the West Region Champions for the 2003 Royal Bank Cup, have gone the distance and captured the Royal Bank Cup, Canada’s National Junior A Hockey Championship. The Broncos defeated the Camrose Kodiaks 3-1 on Sunday afternoon, in front of a boisterous crowd of 2,125 at the Charlottetown Civic Centre.
Humboldt took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals from Matt Brown and Kris Kasper, before Camrose answered with a late power play goal from Matt McKnight with only 11 seconds to play in the first frame. » more

EXPERIENCING THE ROYAL BANK CUP WENT FURTHER THAN JUST ATTENDING GAMES

Hockey games were not the only exciting events that people in Charlottetown got to experience at the Royal Bank Cup National Junior “A” Championship.

Air Canada Cup experience prepares young players for bigger things

For three Camrose Kodiaks, the Air Canada Cup provided a wealth of experience on the national stage.
Kyle Smith, Matt McKnight and MacGregor Sharp were members of the Red Deer Chiefs, who represented the Pacific region at the 2002 national midget championship.
