Fasthockey to Webcast Games From 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship

SASKATOON, Sask. – Fifteen games from the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship in Regina and Saskatoon, Sask., will be webcast live through FASTHockey, meaning that for the first time ever, every game at the World Juniors will be available via either television or webcast.

The following preliminary round games can be seen at hockeycanada.fasthockey.com:

December 26 Russia vs. Austria

December 27 Austria vs. Sweden

December 27 United States vs. Switzerland

December 27 Slovakia vs. Latvia

December 28 Finland vs. Russia

December 29 Austria vs. Czech Republic

December 29 Latvia vs. United States

December 30 Finland vs. Austria

December 30 Switzerland vs. Latvia

December 31 Switzerland vs. Slovakia

In addition, all five games from the relegation round, from January 2-4, will be available.

The expanded webcast coverage means that all 31 games will be available for the first time in the tournament’s 34-year history. In addition to the 15 games listed above, every other game at the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship can be seen on TSN/RDS, TSN2 or online at TSN.ca.
