CALGARY, Alta. – Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League, announced Wednesday roster changes to Canada’s National Junior Team summer development camp, set for Aug. 4-10 in Brossard, Que., and Lake Placid, N.Y.

Four players, forwards Jonathan Drouin (Huberdeau, Que./Halifax, QMJHL) and Nathan MacKinnon (Cole Harbour, N.S./Halifax, QMJHL), and defencemen Griffin Reinhart (West Vancouver, B.C./Edmonton, WHL) and Morgan Rielly (West Vancouver, B.C./Moose Jaw, WHL), will attend camp in Brossard but will not accompany the team for exhibition games in Lake Placid.

With the eligible returning forwards not participating in the games, forwards Mark Jankowski (Dundas, Ont./Providence College, HE) and Brendan Leipsic (Winnipeg, Man./Portland, WHL) have been added to the summer development camp roster. The players have been added by members of the Program of Excellence management group, including Sean Burke, Bruce Hamilton, senior director of hockey operations/national teams Scott Salmond and head scout Ryan Jankowski, along with head coach Brent Sutter, who has the final decision on all player personnel decisions.

Canada’s National Junior Team will gather in Brossard at the Montreal Canadiens’ practice facility for two practices on Aug. 4 and 5 before travelling to Lake Placid for exhibition games against Finland (Aug. 7), Sweden (Aug. 8) and the United States (Aug. 10).

The 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship will be held in Malmö, Sweden from Dec. 26, 2013 to Jan. 5, 2014.
