Quotes:
“My hope is that these boys learned something here this week, from the staff and with each other. Losing like this stings, but there are a lot of lessons to be learned there and things they can take with them in their careers.”
- Head coach Nolan Baumgartner (Calgary, Alta.) on the loss

“As a team, we had to be more disciplined today. With the skill Finland has, they can easily score two goals in two minutes, and they did that. This is a hard one.”
- Bedard on Finland responding after his goal gave Canada a two-goal lead

“Coming together quickly as a group is tough, but these are relationships that are going to last forever. This is a great group of guys, and we will be friends for a long time.”
- Spencer Sova (Windsor, Ont./Erie, OHL) on the experience
