CALGARY, Alberta – Hockey Canada has invited 48 players to Canada’s National Women’s Team Training Camp, presented by BFL CANADA, Oct. 8-14 at the Centre Vidéotron in Quebec City, Quebec.

Six goaltenders, 16 defenders and 26 forwards were selected by general manager Danièle Sauvageau (Montreal, QC/Montreal, PWHL) and senior manager of scouting and player development Cherie Piper (Scarborough, ON).

“We have an incredibly talented group of athletes who have been invited to our October camp, including Olympic gold medallists and world champions alongside some new faces to Canada’s National Women’s Team,” said Sauvageau. “We will begin cultivating our identity as a team during our camp in Quebec City ahead of the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship, while looking ahead to prepare for this Olympic quadrennial.”

Gosling, Jaques, Jenner, Larocque, Maltais, Nurse, O’Neill, Osborne, Shelton, Stacey, Tabin, Watts) and 19 who helped Canada to its most recent Women’s Worlds gold medal in 2024 (Ambrose, Bell, Bourbonnais, Clark, Desbiens, Fast, Fillier, Gardiner, J.
