Regulations: IIHF Rulebook in effect
Rink Size: International standard (200 feet x 100 feet)
Overtime:
- Preliminary round: 3-on-3 overtime (five minutes), followed by five-person shootout
- Quarterfinals: 3-on-3 overtime (10 minutes), followed by five-person shootout
- Semifinals: 3-on-3 overtime (10 minutes), followed by five-person shootout
- Bronze medal game: 3-on-3 overtime (10 minutes), followed by five-person shootout
- Gold medal game: 3-on-3 overtime (20 minutes) until a winner is decided
