Game Story

RED DEER, Alta. – Kirby Dach (Fort Saskatchewan, Alta./Chicago, NHL) scored twice in the third period as part of a four-point game, and White scored three times in the final frame to earn a 6-4 win over Red in an intrasquad scrimmage Wednesday at Canada’s National Junior Team Sport Chek Selection Camp.

Bowen Byram (Cranbrook, B.C./Vancouver, WHL) and Ryan Suzuki (London, Ont./Saginaw, OHL) added a goal and an assist apiece for White, while Connor Zary (Saskatoon, Sask./Kamloops, WHL) and Samuel Poulin (Blainville, Que./Sherbrooke, LHJMQ) had the other goals. Justin Barron (Halifax, N.S./Halifax, LHJMQ), Jack Quinn (Cobden, Ont./Ottawa, OHL), Alex Newhook (St. John’s, N.L./Boston College, HE) and Jamieson Rees (Hamilton, Ont./Sarnia, OHL) did the scoring for Red.
