A: The 2026 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship will take place at Centre 200 in Sydney, NS and the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre in Membertou, NS.
A: The 2026 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship will take place January 10-18, 2026.
A: Eight teams will participate. Group A consists of Canada, Sweden, Switzerland and Hungary. Group B includes the United States, Czechia, Finland and Slovakia.
A: Eight countries will play a total of 21 games (excluding pre-tournament games).
A: The IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation) is the worldwide governing body for ice hockey, responsible for promoting, developing and governing men's and women's ice hockey, including running international tournaments and setting rules.
A: There will be several pre-competition games leading up to the event in January 2026. Hockey Canada is working with the IIHF and potential nearby host communities on a pre-competition schedule that will be released at a later date.
A: The priority ticket list ensured that fans who signed up received front-of-the-line access to 2026 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship tickets. The priority list is now closed.
A: The Medal Round ticket package includes all 9 playoff games being played at Centre 200 including four quarterfinals, the relegation game, two semifinals, the bronze medal game and gold medal game.
A: Individual game tickets and group tickets for all games at Membertou Sport & Wellness Centre and Centre 200 will be available to purchase on October 16, 2025. A Family 4-pack option for playoff games at Centre 200 will be also available to purchase on October 16, 2025. All ticket options at both venues will be available at HockeyCanada.ca/Tickets.

A: To have your group seated together, a minimum group size of 10 or more is required.
