Canada to Play for Bronze at IIHF World Under-18 Championship

 TAMPERE, Finland – Canada’s National Men’s Under-18 Team will play Sweden on Sunday in the bronze medal game of the 2007 IIHF World Under-18 Championship. Canada fell to the USA 4-3 in a shootout on Friday in semifinal action.

Russia defeated Sweden 5-4 in Friday’s other semifinal.

TSN/RDS will be broadcasting the bronze medal game, scheduled to start at 7 a.m on Sunday April 22nd. ET. TSN/RDS is Hockey Canada’s official broadcaster. The gold medal game, featuring the USA taking on Russia, is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. ET. Both the bronze and gold medal games will be played in Tampere.
