Team Canada represented by Ile du Chene, Manitoba and 2003 Allan Cup champions started the
second game of the tournament with an excellent first period. Well supported by great goaltending from Guy
St.Vincent they returned to the dressing room with a scoreless tie after 20 minutes. In the second period, it
became too much of a challenge against a very talented team from Amur in the Russian Super league to maintain
the level of play. The Russians took over the game with 4 goals in the second frame finishing with an
additional 7 in the third period. Team Canada showed great character and passion with respect until the end
of the game.
