Team Canada defeated the home Swiss team 6-2 at the 2004 Skoda Cup, to finish with a record
of 2 wins and 1 loss. Team Canada was the only team to finish with two wins but settled for second
place, as a result of the tie-breaker, which was Slovakia’s win over Canada. Slovakia finished with a
record of 1 win and 2 ties.
Team Canada bounced back from a disappointing loss on Saturday to Slovakia, a game in which Canada outshot
and outplayed the Slovaks for most of the game.
Coach Gary Green, assisted by Don McKee and Bob Leslie, was pleased with today’s six-goal outburst. The
coaches and players will return to their respective club teams on Monday.
