Passport to the World Junior Championships
- To create a travel brochure for the World Junior Championships to inform the reader about Vancouver and Victoria as a travel destination during the tournament.
- For students to summarize and relay information using a specific style of writing.
- Have students envision what they could say to a group of athletes to boost morale and inspire them to try their best to win a game.
- Students use new vocabulary words in sentences about hockey showing their understanding of alternative words in context.
