Safe Skating

• Students listen to, and follow, simple directions to move safely and sensitively through a “skating” environment.

Introduction to Stick Handling

• Students learn the necessary skills required for stick handling:  how to properly hold the stick, how to control the puck/ball, and safety.

Passing Practice

• Students will learn how to properly send and receive a pass.

Developing Hockey Skills

• Students will acquire skills through a variety of developmentally appropriate movement activities, such as ball hockey.
