MONTREAL, Que. & TORONTO, Ont. – The Hockey Canada Foundation is once again giving die-hard hockey fans a chance to bid on game-worn Team Canada gear and support grassroots hockey development across the country.

The jerseys, helmets, and gloves worn by Canada’s National Junior Team at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship are up for grabs for a good cause. The Foundation’s eBay auction, which opened at 8 a.m. ET Thursday and goes through Jan. 7, 2017, raises money to support the recruitment, retention, programming, and infrastructure projects supported by the Hockey Canada Foundation to help keep hockey strong in Canada.

“Our eBay auctions are a unique opportunity for fans to add to their collection of memorabilia while investing in the game in Canada,” said Donna Iampieri, executive director of the Hockey Canada Foundation. “This auction allows Canadians to not only buy a little piece of hockey history, but also help the Hockey Canada Foundation continue its work to keep Canada at the forefront of hockey development at all levels of the game – from recreational to elite players.”

Shipment to the winning bidders for paid items will begin on Jan. 30, 2017.
