It was all Eastern Icebreakers in Newfoundland & Labrador; the Icebreakers scored their way to the top of the provincial Midget AAA league, scoring 81 goals (27 more than any other team) to help them to a 13-2 record and first place. Eastern took charge early, winning its first nine games to distance itself from second-place Western, which has won the last four provincial titles. Icebreakers dotted the top of the scoring chart – Mackenzie Cahill (12-14—26), Jennifer Bidgood (13-11—24) and Emily Hawco (11-8—19) were second, third and fourth, and 11 Eastern skaters finished in the top 20.
