Canada allows late goal in 2-2 draw

Team Canada finished the second game of the World Junior Championship with a 2-2 tie against Finland. There is no overtime or shootout during the 'round robin' portion of the tournament. Finnish player Jani Rita, a first-round pick of the Edmonton Oilers, scored on a breakaway with eight minutes left in the third period to lift Finland into a 2-2 tie with Canada on Thursday. Jamie Lundmark and Brad Boyes scored Canada's goals while Tony Salmelainen also scored for Finland. Finland outshot Canada 11-7 in the third period and 27-25 overall.
