2008 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge

Team West wins 6 to 9 over Team West in Bronze Medal match at World Under 17 Hockey Championship.
Casey Cizikas scored the game-winning goal on a second-period power play to send Ontario to the gold medal game with a victory over West. Cizikas and Taylor Hall had a goal and an assist each for Ontario, which will play for gold for the seventh time.
Kevin Lynch’s goal 63 seconds into the third period was the difference as the Americans ended Pacific’s gold medal hopes with a semifinal victory. Zach Golembiewski and Drew Shore had the other goals for the U.S., which will try for a third gold medal.
