A diehard Edmonton Oilers fan, Jason Thompson has portrayed Dr. Patrick Drake on ABC’s General Hospital since 2005. The St. Albert, AB native left home at 18 to build a career in modeling and commercials but still keeps in touch with his Canadian roots, owning a pair of Edmonton restaurants – Halo and Redstar. Thompson had regular roles on television shows Zoe, Deep, Felicity, MTV Undressed and Flipper before landing the role on General Hospital.
