UNITED STATES 1 Canada scored three times on the power play, including twice with two-man advantages, and scored four times in the second period as it opened pre-tournament play with a win over the Americans.

RED 8 – WHITE
3 Seven different players scored goals, led by a pair from Jaden Schwartz, as Red wrapped up a sweep of the intersquad games with a rout of White. John McFarland added a goal and two assists.

2 Brooks Macek and Ryan O’Connor scored 18 seconds apart to cap a three-goal first period as Red held off White in the final 40 minutes to earn its second intersquad victory in as many nights.

4 Jaden Schwartz, the lone Junior A player in camp, scored twice and linemates Christian Thomas and Cédrick Henley had two assists each as Red built a three-goal lead en route to the victory.
